Your donation qualifies for a tax deduction
VATAHA Foundation is registered as public benefit organization (Algemeen Nut Beogende Instelling; ANBI) in The Netherlands. More specifically, VATAHA is registered as a cultural ANBI. An organization only gets awarded the ANBI status if it dedicates more than 90% of its resources to a common good cause and implements measures like a non-renumeration policy for its board members.
Donors of VATHA may deduct their donations from their income or their corporate taxes. Moreover, an additional gift deduction applies because VATAHA is a cultural ANBI . Individuals may multiply their gifts to a cultural ANBI by 1.25 and deduct this amount on their income tax return (conditions apply based on your total income). Companies subject to corporate income tax may deduct 1.5 times the amount of such a gift in their corporate income tax return.
