Through the story of the talented Ukrainian sisters Viktoriia and Bozhena Hamar, this interview highlights how young Ukrainian artists are bringing the traditional instruments sopilka and bandura to new international audiences. As they begin performing together, they actively promote Ukrainian culture across Europe while building their careers abroad.

Run for Ukraine 2026
VATAHA’s annual memorial run is taking place again this year on 23 August, 2026. For the fifth consecutive year, Run for Ukraine will honor the memory of the Heroes who died in the struggle for Ukraine’s independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity.
