Samuel Fernandes

Samuel Fernandes was born and raised in Brazil. He studied visual communication in high school, which sparked his interest in media and storytelling. Later, he earned a degree in social sciences, combining his curiosity about people and culture with a critical understanding of society. His passion for communication led him to complete a journalism training program at Folha de S.Paulo, one of Brazil’s major newspapers, where he was also a reporter. After two years in this position, he left Brazil to studied a master’s degree in Art and Cultural Management in Europe. Recently, Samuel returned to Brazil and continues to collaborate with different publications. He is very confident that his background will bring creativity and diversity to VATAHA’s team.
