Sofiia Maior is a writer and communication manager from Chernivtsi, currently pursuing her bachelor’s degree in Communication and Media in Rotterdam. A creator at heart, she also paints, films, and edits, always seeking new ways to express stories that matter. Her journey with words began through free verse poetry and evolved into short fiction and editorial writing, where she found her voice in exploring identity, memory, and cultural belonging. Deeply passionate about arts and culture, with a keen interest in linguistics and foreign languages, Sofiia believes in the power of storytelling as a tool for connection and cultural preservation. This belief led her to join VATAHA, where she contributes to editorial content and leads the social media team to embrace and celebrate Ukrainian culture and art.
