On 07 December 2025, VATAHA is bringing Christmas cheer to the Randstad by hosting its second annual Ukrainian “Warm Christmas” event at Dokhuis Rotterdam.
From 14:00 to 19:00, you are warmly invited to experience the magic of Ukrainian Christmas traditions with music, dance, theater, and beautiful traditional clothing. Enjoy the festive atmosphere, explore handmade crafts, sing along, or join in a dance!
Highlights of the day (14:00-18:00)
- Interactive folk dance & singing by KOZA
- Children’s theater group from Ukrainian House Rotterdam
- MRIYA dance group in traditional Christmas attire
- Lecture on Ukrainian folk clothing
- Several craft workshops for adults and children
Until 19:00, local Ukrainian artists will present their handmade crafts and special gifts in the Christmas market section of the event – a highlight from last year’s inaugural Warm Christmas event which was attended by several hundred people, and made the local news.
